Recently (like since May 2, 2001) we have found that mail from us
(thermolink.com, which is handled by our ISP [mail.]onecom.com) is being
rejected with errors like this:


Delivery failed
550 5.7.1 <[log in to unmask]>... Mail from 207.136.177.243 refused
by RBL, RSS, or DUL, please see www.mail-abuse.org, sender is


Delivery failed
550 5.7.1 This system is configured to reject mail from
c5210-4-97.wrn-oh.onecom.com (Host blacklisted - see
http://maps.vix.com/rbl/)


Unable to deliver to destination domain
SMTP greeting from host read:
550-AOL no longer accepts connections from dynamically assigned
550-IP addresses to our relay servers.  Please contact your ISP
550 to have your mail redirected through your ISP's SMTP servers.


It looks as though one of the hosts has been blacklisted by some of the spam
prevention systems.  I've been working with our ISP (all right, I called
them once and forwarded every rejection to them and they haven't been a
whole lot of help), but can someone help me figure out what's going on here?
And how to get our mail back into the good graces of the spam preventers.
Or am I stuck in maze of twisty little passages (all the same), at the mercy
of my ISP?
