Jeff,  I guess my concern is that another ported version of Sendmail ---
supported by HP and installed via patches, express release, etc... not
overwrite and mess up a currently installed working version of Sendmail.

So as part of your porting exercise can you also write/provide a tool that
reads and imports the existing sendmail settings into your new version?
