Kissing a pig will be the "prize" for two winners and two losers in the
River Roast annual Pig Kissing Contest. Our own Richard Brown goes up
against other local leaders in the quest to kiss "Elvis", a delightful
pot bellied pig. Votes are $1 and all are encouraged to vote often.
The 16th annual River Roast barbecue competition, and music festival is
held May 18 and 19 at Ross's Landing. This year's festival features
headliners Mark Wills (Friday night) and Marshall Tucker Band (Saturday
night). The Pig Kissing ceremony is Saturday at 5:00 p.m.
You can pick up your ballots and cast your votes at Continuing Education
(119 Race Hall), Vice Chancellors office (103 Founders). Please turn
your votes in by 5 p.m. on Friday, May 18.
All proceeds are tax deductible and benefit the Kidney Foundation of the
Greater Chattanooga Area.
