Has anyone noticed this problem:

You ftp transfer to and from one HP3000 to another,
then once in a while (perhaps days or weeks apart,
the speed drops dramatically.

For example, from over a megabyte a second to 25k bytes
a second. Then if I stop and start all the LAN stuff,
it goes back to full speed!

Also, in the course of trying to figure this out,
I was running LINKCONTROL @;STATUS=ALL and wonder
if anyone could explain the 'Recv dropped: addr field',
as I can't find mention of it in any manuals.
