I spoke with VESOFT this afternoon and it was determined that there is not
any way to disable the upshift feature. Sigh.... :(
I submitted an enhancement request for them to make STREAMX more posix
friendly.
Personally I never ran into this since I put all my shell commands into
script files and then execute the script files from a job stream. Hmmm...
On reflection, maybe this is why I started creating script files for my
jobs!

Interesting. Why would STREAMX want to upshift stuff? I hope there's a way
to
turn that feature off, because if you run lots of POSIX batch jobs you will
be
asking for trouble otherwise.
