Are you going to post a notice on comp.sys.hp.hpux that such a mailing
list now exists? Or is the feeling that the list is mainly for "MPE
people who are forced to use HP-UX"?

I don't suppose there is any hope for any kind of Usenet echo for
HP9000-L? Since that's how I read 3000-L anyways, it would be handy
for me to access 9000-L the same way (and I'm interested since I've
been a 9000 admin for about 7 years now...)

For those with access to comp.sys.hp.hpux, I can say that the
newsgroup's atmosphere is much less stuffy than the hpux-admin mailing
list is reported to be (I'm not on that mailing list, so I can't
confirm or deny this). They have very little OT stuff, and not the
sense of "community" or perhaps even "comraderie" that 3000-L has, but
it is extremely helpful, and there are a number of HP UNIX wizards who
frequent that newsgroup daily.
