We regularly serve upto 80 incoming SQL connections on an HP3000/957,
concurrently with as many as 220-plus interactive sessions (mix of
telnet and incoming VT). Even with only 512KB memory, peformance
is reasonable, and I have never been able to detect a significant load
from the SQL daemon. The SQL DBE spans 9 TI databases and involves
considerable re-mapping.
