Sounds like possibly 1) DNS isn't configured properly on your e3000, or 2) your
e3000 hasn't been entered properly within your DNS server.

Look at http://www.bixby.org/mark/sendmailix.html under System Requirements in
the third major bullet.  Lots of stuff on your DNS server and your e3000 has to
match up in order for sendmail to work properly.
