Hi,

We have sendmail 8.9.1 on our 937 (MPE/ix 6.0). We are having problem sending mail outside of our organization.

We do have DNS resolving however in looking at the log file on our internal mail server, when the 3000 connects to deliver mail it's connecting as hpuser.hpaccount@dtc1

Can someone tell me where I make the change in the sendmail configuration to change the value so it will be a valid server dns name? I can't figure it out...

I do have the Mail From address correct in the message being delivered but there must be somewhere to configure the HELO from command to the recipients mail server.

thanks, bob

bob
