I need some help talking to MS SQL server on NT from an HP3000.
I have a COBOL program that calls a C program with dblib calls and
writes to Sybase on Unix and Sybase on NT through this program. This
is my first try talking to SQL Server 7 on NT.
Does anyone know why calling dblib on NT server for Sybase works but
doesn't work with MS SQL? Is a different dblib required? The MS web
pages I've looked at turned up blanks.
PROGNAM error handler
severity = 9
dberr = 2002
oserr = 68
dberrstr = Read from SQL Server failed
oserrstr = RECEIVED A GRACEFULL RELEASE OF THE CONNECTION. (SOCKERR
68)
Operating-system error: RECEIVED A GRACEFUL RELEASE OF THE CONNECTION.
(SOCKERR 68)
DB-Library: SQL Server connection failsed.
thks.
