"how can I (Programmatically) get the terminal emulator to pull up a 'Save
As Window' to browser through the Windows file system?"

Reflection is almost completely programmable. Try turning on the script
recorder and performing the function you want to perform manually. You will
then end up with a VBA application that performs the desired functions.
After that you have several choices. The one I like is to create a Visual
Basic COM (ActiveX) object to drive an instance of Reflection. There is an
example at http://www.xformix.com/vbexample/index.html. Try the one called
"COM Client/Server and Web". It's kind of overkill for what you want but it
shows the concepts.
