Well I've done this on Windows by using a piece of shareware called
NIPrint form Network Instruments. It was pretty easy to set up. There
are lots of shareware LPD daemons available for Windows. I tried several
of them and they all seemed to work fine. I suggest an Internet search
for "LPD" and see what you find.
