Yes. The PostgreSQL 7.1 source already has the changes to recognize
Darwin. The only catch (for me) is that in 7.1, the JDBC adaptor is built
using Ant <http://jakarta.apache.org>, and ant isn't installed by
default. But now I've been introduced to Ant, it looks quite interesting.
Ant is a next-generation Make that abandons the hoary Unix makefile
syntax for XML.
