Larry,
I am curious about the export restrictions. The DES based algorithm is on
the munitions list and is restricted from export. Has that come up in your
discussion of a VPN to India? Perhaps you are not going to use a DES based
VPN solution.

We need to install a VPN to or manufacturing site in Bangalore, India?
Has anyone on the list done this or know of the specifics about a
connection. We have 2 proposals. One is via satellite but the latency is
long and the other is via land lines but the satellite vendor says that the
lines go down during the rainy seasons and quality of service is not good.
I would like to talk to someone who has done this.
