Greetings,
Well it turned out that I had some time this week, so I've made some more
progress on the MPE::IMAGE module. It's still pretty much readonly, but it
now handles all of the documented DbInfo modes (with the exception of the 800
(TPI) series). DbControl is also now available, and DbBegin, DbEnd, DbMemo,
DbXBegin, DbXEnd, and DbXUndo are tested and documented (in preparation for the
final 5 intrinsics to be added). The module now has a README file so that
should be available from CPAN standalone pretty soon. I realize that the
intrinsic documentation is fairly sparse and somewhat nonstandard. I would
welcome assistance either in making that more useful or in coding the remaining
intrinsics.
To get version 0.03, one can either use the CPAN module or go to www.cpan.org
and download the module for manual installation.

Kepler's principal goal was to explain the relationship between the
existence of five planets (and their motions) and the five regular solids.
It is customary to sneer at Kepler for this. It is instructive to compare
this with the current attempts to "explain" the zoology of elementary
particles in terms of irreducible representations of Lie groups.
