If I had to guess, they will probably choose Dallas-Ft. Worth. Why would
they want to move some of the highest paid employees from an income tax-
free state like Washington to an income tax state like Colorado or
Illinois? Texas, like Washington and 7 other states does not have a state
income tax.

Also, Denver is not that central, Chicago and Dallas are much more central.

Then again, who knows? We shall see.

Kind regards,

Denys. . .

Rattle? Not really, except maybe for some 'prestige' factor (unless
you're one of the 500 people who's job moves, of course); Boeing employs
over 112,000 people in Washington, so you're talking 0.45% of their
Washington workforce, or 0.019% of the state's non-agricultural
employees.

Right. You'll hardly notice a difference in the traffic on I405 through the
Renton "S" Curves.

Denver would be just dandy for the ideal relocation.

No mention of another misfortune 200 company ousted-sourcing their
technical staff, including telephones, telecommunications, and in the
latest news, their computer facilities are being taken over by EDS to
"straighten out the mess" (wonder how they will do with the HP3000 Classic
machines?). If anyone can do it, EDS can. Good luck, EDS! You'll need it!
