I'll set up a mailing list and web site and let you know the specifics.

In the mean time, how about expounding on your ideas for the architecture?

I had considered starting with a set of intrinsics that would function
exactly like Image calls but add in the layers for the functionalities i.e.
type validity. Plus extra datasets (Image or not) for the metadata.  There
would be an extra set of error messages and DBINFO modes.

We should get dialed in on the project scope pretty early on.

What do you want to call it, at least for the time being?
