I take sectors and multiply by 0.000256 to get megabytes.
So a million sectors = 1,000,000 * 0.000256 = 256mb, good
enough for my purposes.

Subject: [HP3000-L] Figuring bytes from sectors

I know I should know this, but the mind ain't what it use to be...

How can you find the number of megabytes in a sector?

I want to say megabytes = sectors/4000, but I think that's just an estimate.

Thanks,

Ernie
