What a hoot!  Personally I have never done any of these things......

But, I did witness something similar to one of yours.....

We had just come back from diving the river at were at the local
Marina shooting the breeze. A couple were in the process of
launching their nice ski type boat. The ramp at this marina is very
steep and not the easiest to back a vehicle and boat down. The
guy was drunk and the young lady did not have any experience
backing a truck with a trailer on it. After probably 6 or 7 attempts to
back it down to the water, with the guy sitting in the boat and
yelling and dog cussing the lady she had had all that she could
take. This guy was really out of hand with his yelling and the things
he was calling this lady. She was at the top of the ramp and had
gotten things pretty straight and had the truck moving down the
ramp pretty fast. The moron in the boat was yelling at her to slow
the **** down, so she hit the brakes.. ... hard...... real hard.........
the truck stopped just fine.... the boat, with the moron didn't..... :-)

When the boat finally stopped skidding down the ramp, off the
trailer, about two feet from the waters edge, it was minus the lower
unit of the motor and a whole bunch of fiberglass..... the guy was
no longer yelling, he was sittin in the boat, with white knuckles
gripping the wheel with wide eyes and mouth wide open.....

The young lady pulled the truck into the parking area, got out and
asked if we would give her a ride back into town....... We did.... :-)
