Hi,
Sorry, I forgot to attach the rules for voting on the SIG system
Improvement Ballots. Here they are:

Rules:

A user must enter their name and other required information on the
FIRSTpage. Interex ID for members is requested but not required.
The user then selects a SIG from the list for which they wish to
vote.

The ballot is then shown. All SIG SIB ballots have 10 votes for
which auser may cast. The user may cast a negative vote, should
that user feelstrongly AGAINST an item, however, that negative
vote counts toward theirtotal of 10, as if it were a positive number.
For example, if a user enters votes for four items as 2, 4, 4, -2 --
their total would equal 12, not 8 -we take the absolute value of that -
2, make it +2, and count it as part of the 10. (It's always been
done that way). If a user enters a ballot such as 2, 4, -4 - that
ballot will be accepted as TEN votes were cast. IN THE
DATABASE however, that negative will be recorded as a negative,
so in the above example, the ballot would be shown as 2 votes for
one item, 4 votes for another, and a negative 4 votes for the third.

(I hope that this isn't as confusing as it sounds -- we are trying to
catch
the intent of the voter, but not allow that voter to "mix and match" all
over the ballot. The idea here is to get the user to vote on those
items
that are near and dear to their heart - and not the whole thing).

A user may only vote once for a SIG's SIB. There are of course,
ways around
it although we try to make it difficult. There will be a daily audit
report, and if we find a second ballot for the same person, they will
be
notified, and the second ballot deleted.

Each ballot will receive a unique Serial Number as well.
