Hi

I am writing a program which is listening on Port 80 on my hp , when I run
the program I cannot bind to the port , it is as though something already
has this locked out. i.e Apache or inetd else which are not running. The
program has been compiled in PM mode because the port is below 1024 , when I
run the same program listening on port 8080 , it works. Do I need to do
something else special on port 80 before I can bind to it ?

Thanks for the help in advance.

Regards
