The answer to the TLA question, what was the winning code name for the
404Mbyte disc at HP DMD Boise, after the decision had been made to make it a
fixed disc instead of removable as originally intended:

Big Fixed Disc,

Management didn't like the resulting acronym (?)

Oh but the 7935 drive is a removable pack device.  The far more common
version, the 7933 is the fixed in-place pack unit.  Still a removable pack
drive if you know how to open it up though.  Same pack and mechanics.

No idea on "TLA".
