hi all!
yup, i'm trying to kill stuff again :-)
the following is from my sendmail.pid file....
:print /SENDMAIL/PUB/etc/sendmail.pid
65853
/SENDMAIL/PUB/SENDMAIL -q5m -bD
this file is quite different from my other 'pid' files
because of the 2nd line....and i can't do....
xeq sh.hpbin.sys "-c 'kill `cat ./smbd.pid`'"
like i do with samba (in this case). i'm reasonably sure
there must be some posix-y way of doing this, but..... any
suggestions? - d
