FWIW, I would suggest using Patch/iX. After my early mistrust of this "new"
technology, I have come to really like it. In fact when moving a system
from, say 5.5 to 6.0 and PP2, I do the least possible that I can before
switching to Checklist A where I can use Patch/iX. It hasn't been flawless,
though. But much more robust than AUTOPAT.
