Having seen it once before, I "knew it was out there..." searching google
found:
[keywords: atomic bomb metal bowl swing]
http://www.overthrow.com/gonuke.html (plans for making a garden variety
H-bomb)
however the "author" [or "redistributor of the original text" is more likely
the case] of the information chose to use non-bold black text on a dark red
background -- almost impossible to read...
http://www.limey.net/~pogo/dc/BOMB seems to be the same copy of the text,
but in a much-easier-to-read black-on-white format.
I noticed that a "chunk" of the original is missing about the point where
they are mentioning that you "might feel a bit run down, so you should take
a blood test" it suddenly jumps mid-sentence. i.e.: place a drop of blood
... "and examine under a micalleable, like gold, so you should have no
trouble hammering it into the bowl to get a good fit." [sloppy copy
editors!]
Apparently, I'm not the only one to note the missing text.
http://my.ohio.voyager.net/~dionisio/fun/make-your-own-h-bomb.html
has a note that this was missing and had 'filled in' the missing portion [it
was also about the 5th or 6th copy of the article, which shows how quickly
poor information propagates on the 'net...]
http://loffen.styx.net/misc/hbomb.html also seems to contain the "complete"
text...
