Maybe people share that heart....had a similar experience re needing a
single-user pricing scheme for a 937/LX.

I made a solid business case to Cognos.  I wanted to know why, for a box
with virtually no residual cash value to run a 1 user license for reporting
they wanted >$20K.

I got the desired result---1 user license for notta lotta $$$.  Not typical
vendor behavior.

Just to let everyone know that Cognos greatly reduced their price to
transfer PowerHouse
from the 937 to a 929.  There is one person who works for them that does
indeed have a heart.
Ahhh the power of Internet. (Which by the way I invented).
