touché.....

FWIW, some of us who will be attending the SIG3000
meeting right after the e3000 Sol Sym will be staying at the
Motel 6 Sunnyvale North (yes:  Motel 6).  $60 per night;
only place worth mentioning I found under $100 a night.
Right off US Hwy 101 at Mathilda Ave exit...

DISCLAIMER:  I have never stayed at this Motel 6 before...
but another SIG3000 attendee has;  he said he had no
complaints....   It was new 11 years ago;  refurbished three
years ago.   Free HBO, etc....  *and*:  Free local calls and
NO motel service charge on long distance calls (take THAT,
Hyatt, et. al.    ;-)  ).
