Hi all,

I have imported a MSExcel spreadsheet into MSAccess as a table. After
importing, I am redesigning the table with certain amount fields as Numeric,
field size as Long interger in the format of "000000000000" (so that I have
leading zeroes in the 12 digit numeric field) with Decimal places in Auto
mode so that no decimal places are displayed. I save these settings and
everything works out fine. When I open the table everything looks like the
way I wanted it..

But somehow when I export the table into Text file (which is later FTPed to
client site), I dont get those amount fields in leading zero format !! I
have a export specification which shows that those 2 amount fields are
Numeric and Long Integer, but am not able to locate any features or
properties to have this in leading zero format. The specification however
shows a option for leading zeroes in Dates being disabled but I do not have
any dates in my files.

I am using MSAccess 97. If anyone has come across on how this can be handled
then your responses are duly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

With Best Regards
Raghu.
