Let me add one more new feature that will appear in the next version of
QCTerm that may prove to be important to some of you:
o The receive buffer's length has been increased from 65K to 4GB, thus
now even if you are connected to the fastest possible server with the fattest
possible pipe, and the host does not support telnet XON/XOFF, you should not
now be able to overrun QCTerm's input buffer, given anything close to normal
circumstances.
If you are not aware of it, the HP3000 has not supported telnet flow control
(option 33) until just now with the "advanced telnet" patch. This substantial
increase in input buffer size miminizes the need for that patch now, but if
the host supports telnet flow control, we certainly will use it.
