On my system, I have 3 disc drives, all part of class DISC and all part of
the MPEXL_SYSTEM_VOLUME_SET (MEMBER1, MEMBER2, MEMBER3)

A bit later this year, I am going to take device 2 out of service, since it
is going off of support. I had been planning to use MPEX ALTFILE like this
to move files:

ALTFILE @[log in to unmask](ONDEVICE(2));DEV=3

I was just experimenting with this and noticed that some files/extents move
over to device 3 but some don't. The ones that won't budge have a device
class of DISC and a device number of 2 when I do a listf,4 in MPEX. The ones
that do move over say MEMBER3 instead of DISC. Am I painted into a corner
here? Can I do what I want to do? TIA.
