I have been asked to price a 3000 comparable to a 996/200, 1GB RAM, 64GB of
discs with fifteen of those mirrored by the other fifteen for 34GB useable
storage (this is probably the most flexible part of this quote, but in
addition to the sys vs, I need about a 20GB pvs), three DATs, with Oracle
(yeah, I know. Me, too). That's close to the good news.

Today. I've been asked for this today. That's the not so good news.

Did I mention that I was planning on leaving at about 4:15PM EST, at the
latest? While I do not want to disappoint my boss by not getting this info,
I do not want to face the fury of a woman scorned by not meeting my wife at
5PM...

Any useful feedback welcome, including that from resellers.
