After much talk about it, it *finally* showed up in my inbox -- the "real
story" of snowhite, etc., but it appears to be somewhat, if not completely,
de-fanged by Raven :)
However, it showed up twice...
Once, as a 900-ish byte message + attachment; not knowing the nature of the
beast, I "shift-deleted" it [deletes without opening nor confirmation]. I
checked on the website about it, and it appears there is some "come on" text
that entices the recipient to open the attachment, and the attachments
themselves are clearly suspect -- a randomly named, often quite suggestive,
.scr or .exe -- EXECUTABLE files!
The second instance had no such attachment and was trimmed to around 500
bytes.
I suspect, due to the size of the initial message-with-attachment, the
"attachment" was a notice that the original attachement was a known virus
and had thus been "cleaned" before transmission [however, as I said, I
deleted without looking, so I'll never know... ;) ]
