and entertainment? Is a car needed to get around in San Jose, or would it
be like Boston, where a car is a detriment? >>

Hi Jim,
If you are going to the Solutions Symposium and staying at the Wyndham you
don't need a car.
You can pick up the light rail right outside the hotel and it goes into San
Jose.
(Very convenient - a bunch of us went into San Jose for dinner last year on
the light rail. It was a lot of fun.)
The hotel is also just a few miles from the airport. There is a shuttle from
the airport.

If you are going to the SIG 3000 meeting and manage to get a reservation at
the Cupertino Hilton
or the Cupertino Courtyard you don't need a car either. They are right across
from HP. There are also a few
restaurants in the area.

Best Regards,
Debbie Lawson-Kirkwood
