If this item is not already on SIGMPE enhancement request
list, I request make it so....  such an obviously good idea that
no discussion should be necessary, IMO....

....  which leads to a larger question left-over from HPW-00:
Any prospect at least some of the "Small effort" items might
get done any time soon ??...
