It will NOT automagically restart STM.  You can restart it through CSTM
interactively (not intuitive-ask the response center) or there is a beta
patch that will allow one to run a program that restarts STM.  And I would
love it if at HPWorld someone would do a tutorial on STM.

So will normal netcontrol stop and start restart stm? Or is there something

It's true, on 6.5 the NS must be up for stm to work.
