ODBCLink/SE does hide the user information - the password stuff comes up as
asterixes... and we can pass it to the 3000 encoded (never use the word
encrypted with lawyers n the same room)
The logon info is passed to a listener while uses the User-id and password to
authenticate the user - it is also possible to use DSN-less connections where
the program programatically passes in the user info ...
