Not only is it possible, the default for any group built is
MPEXL_SYSTEM_VOLUME_SET no matter where the account resides.
You must force the group into a "private volume" using the ONVS clause.

Subject: [HP3000-L] groups, accounts and volume set relationships

Does anyone know if it is possible to have a group homed to a different
volume set than the account that it is part of is homed to? What are the
rules?

For example, can I create a group DATA.PROD where onvs=DATA_VOLUME_SET and
for PROD homevs=PROD_VOLUME_SET ?

Thanks,

Matt
