just a thought... if you ":ASSOCIATE" the tape-device, wouldn't the
"mount next tape"-message be sent to the associated user? would at
least be easier to scan a not-so-busy terminal as the console...

just my .02 SEK
/per (never used :ASSOCIATE, just suspect it could be useful in certain
situations)
