I formally approve the attached message below.

Because doing so seems to be the only way I can legally respond to it, in
the opinion of the lawyers of BNPPARIBAS.COM.

> Any use not in accord with its purpose, any dissemination or disclosure,
> either whole or partial, is prohibited except formal approval.

If your company is going to attach rude and insulting messages to all of
your email, they could at least make sure that the !@#$ verbiage in the
message makes sense! It's only three paragraphs for heaven's sake, so how
come every one of these stupid disclaimers has at least one obvious error
that either partially or completely invalidates any legal force it might
possibly carry??

Yesterday someone posted a message with the auto-lawyer text:

> ***********************************************************************
> Confidentiality: This e-mail and its attachments are intended for the
> above named recipient(s) only and may be confidential and/or
> privileged. If they have come to you in error you must take no action
> based on them, nor must you copy or disclose them or any part of their
                 ^^^^^^^^
> contents to any person or organisation; [snip legal nonsense]

"nor must"?? That makes no sense at all. It says that I don't *have* to
copy or disclose the message to anyone, but that implies that perhaps I
*may* do this.

These auto-attached legalese things make me certain that I do not want to do
business with that company, because they are obviously so legally paranoid
that they will probably never be able to get anything done.
