how to configure a netport printer on a HP 3000

I running out of luck trying to install a network printer. I can do this
with jetdirect but I was unsuccessful using a netport from Intel.

I will appreciate any help on how to configure a netport printer on a HP
3000 using the snmp or TCP/IP protocol.
