Glenn is right. Missouri is a "swing state" and though I work in Kansas
(and live in Missouri), the candidates and their advocates did not cross
into Kansas. All the traffic jams were in Missouri during most
inopportune times! Unfortunately for me, Kansas City is right on the
Kansas/Missouri state line and I had to go through it to get to/from
work! Grumble, grumble. Traffic gridlock reminded me of my 18 years in
the Los Angeles area. And here I thought I left it behind! ha :-)

Cynthia remarked that Kansas City has seen the same political hype as
Wirt
and some others has shared. Just for the record, I believe the
emphasis was
on residents of Kansas City, Missouri (in case there was any doubt)
because
Missouri is a "swing state".
