Subject: [HP3000-L] Setup of Samba/iX

Hello,

I'm still trying to start samba on my system 969KS/200 running 6.0

1) setvar TZ "MET-1METDST" in system logon udc

What's the correct value for Belgium ?

            MET-1METDST or MET-2METDST ?

2) customised snm.conf and testparm: OK

3) Added two lines in services.net.sys and link exists with /etc/services:
OK

4) Added two lines in inetdcnf.net.sys and link exists with
/etc/inetd.conf:
OK

5) inetd.net -c to reread to configuration: OK

6) Checked the stdlist of jinetd, and services added succesfully: OK

7) When trying to use /usr/local/samba/bin/smbclient "-L HP969KS"

    ... host unfriendly

In the stdlist, i find the following:

 Configuration complete
 Received call for: smbp tcp
  **** EXEC FUNCTION FAILED; subsys =517; info = 48 ABORT: SMBD.SAMBA.SYS
NM
SYS
   a.00ac74a0 dbg_abort_trace+$24
 NM UNKN 3b0.001f8f9c
 NM UNKN 1351.0001ecc0
 smbp/tcp: Died on signal 6
 Connection logging enabled
 Received call for: nmbp udp
nmbp/udp: Connection from unknown (185.100.104.83) at Sat Nov 4 14:35:59
2000
  **** EXEC FUNCTION FAILED; subsys =517; info = 48 ABORT: NMBD.SAMBA.SYS

Any idea ?

Thanks.

Beghein Johan.
