As far as I recall (but I have not verified this in the manual, which
is probably available at docs.hp.com) there is no need for a dedicated
disk or volume set for the dumps. However, the volume set should be
vsclose'd after creating the dump container files (to flush all data
structures to disc), so the system volume set would be not quite handy,
as this would mean a reboot.
