It sounds like this is an old version of Perl.  Type "perl -v" to see what
version you have. "use strict" is a feature in Perl 5.  You can download the
latest windows version of Perl from
http://www.activestate.com/Products/ActivePerl/Download.html

Note that you'll need to have Microsoft's Windows Installer to install Perl
5.6.  You can use the earlier Perl 5.005 if you don't want to install that.
