Hi,

I'm using an escape sequence to call Internet Explorer from the HP (works with both Minisoft and Reflections):

ESC&oF SHELL c:\progra~1\intern~1\iexplore.exe [http reference]

I do this in order for users to be able to go directly to the help documentation on the company intranet from the application.

What I would like to know - is there a way of running an application depending upon its file association, thus removing the need to point to the specific location on the PC? Something like the 'RUN' facility on the START menu would be ideal - using this, I can just put the http reference directly into the RUN box and the appropriate application starts.

Thanks in advance.

Michael.
