Wrong, even if found innocent, a court-martial
follows your career forever. The results of
which usually result in whispered conversations
behind the back of the person or behind
closed doors.

These tendencies on the part of superiors
may also manifest itself upon the person
when his name comes before
a promotion board.

Correct me if I am wrong but I thought that the term 'Court Martial'
simply refered to a military trial. Not that the defendant had been
found guilty. That is, it is possible to be cleared of all charges with
no adverse effect on one's career after having been Court Martialed.
