Not to reiterate the obvious, but if the new machine
Is used,
Was not previously yours, and
Contains nothing of interest to you (what "critical" data might a used
machine from somewhere else contain?)
wouldn't it be easier/cleaner/faster/whateverer to just INSTALL 6.x?
