Hello Everybody,

Thanks to all who helped me with my last problem..  I have another question
however.  Has anyone ever configured a Cannon Printer on the HP3000?  I have
2 rather large Cannon Printers that I would like to use as "backup printers"
in case of any hardware problems with my Regular 5si/D640.  When I set up
these printers, the following error occurs:

Output spooler, LDEV #616:  SNMP error SNMP_NoSuchName reported
while retrieving printer status.
Native Mode Spooler message 9656

13:00/304/Output spooler, LDEV #616:  Cannot communicate with network
printer.
Check network xport config, NPCONFIG.PUB.SYS, xport and links started
status,
intermediate network, and printer status.
Native Mode Spooler message 9662

Now, this printer is defined in NPCONFIG.PUB.SYS and is set up through
IOCONFIG.  I just set a regular Laser Printer(HP of course) in Puerto Rico
yesteday, and everything works fine.  Does anybody have any info on this..
