Can somebody explain in simple terms the concepts behind OPEN-3, OPEN-8,
OPEN-9, etc. as it relates to disc technology? All the manuals I have seen
from HP on stuff such as the XP-256 seems to assume that I know what these
terms mean - and I don't. I know it equates to a certain size disc
partitioning, but don't understand the correlation between the suffix
(-3,-8,-9) and the results. Thanks in advance.
