Hi Carol,

I'm sorry to hear your news, however, there is probably still a lot of
diving that you could enjoy in relative safety. Shallow reefs in the
range of 30'-35' would possibly present significantly lower risk of
DCS.
Shallow diving in healthy reefs is great fun and opportunities for
natural light photography is excellent. Perhaps with a little more dive
site discretion you could accommodate your special needs and still have
a most enjoyable dive experience.

I certainly wouldn't mind buddying up with someone limited to shallow
diving given the right sites. Shallow diving also lends itself to solo
diving as well. In any case, if you truly love diving as much as it
seems you do, I'm confident that you will find a creative way of working
through this. Just a thought...

Best regards,
Russ
